Welcome to our blog. This will allow us to update you all on the status of Nancy in a discreet way. We ask that you respect our privacy and help us manage some of the difficulties in communication by using this tool.
Nancy, you are absolutely in my most fervent prayers and thoughts. I will respect your wishes in every respect, including about "no meals", but know that that may be nearly impossible for me to respect since I am accustomed to showing love and support through food. (Isn't that part of our heritage, after all?!) Should you find that your ability to be so stoic and in control is wavering in the slightest, I hope you know that I will be there for you and your family in whatever way you would find most helpful, whether in driving, cooking, cleaning, keeping company, or whatever else your heart may desire. I'll do my best to avoid the puppy-dog eyes, and to give you whatever other support helps you during this period. With prayers and hugs and very positive thoughts, Diane S.
Nancy, We will keep you in our prayers, but i don't believe there is anything out there stronger than you. You will weather this like all the others and if you feel like your resolve wavers, we are waiting in the wings with more love and support to get you thru. Please let Barry know that any help needed from driving to meals to just being present if he needs to go somewhere, is what we are here for. With love and positive energy, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and available at a moments notice. love, Juliet and Steve
You are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. As others have already stated, we too, are available anytime, any place, to offer our assistance and support to you, Barry, and/or the girls, in absolutely any way, if a need arises. Your positive strength, and the love, prayers, and support of your family and friends will get you through this. Love, Debbie and Gary

Hi Nancy, So sorry to hear your news. This is a bit if deja vu for me because our son had an acustic neuroma on his brain stem last year that was too large for the gamma knofe. He had a very successful long surgery and a follow up gamma knife procedure. He is off doing a semester in Sweden and the surgery is a bit of a distant, albeit scary, memory. Of course, I offer my assistance on anything you need. I love your rules and am happy to play by them. All the best and we'll be following your succesful progress! Jeanine Jiganti
